But prove yourselves to be doers of the word,
and not merely hearers who delude themselves.
James 1:22
It is only when you live and apply the truth of
the Bible to your life that it becomes part of you.
The longer you do this, and the more effectively you do this,
the more a part of you the Word of God becomes.
There is no shortcut for this, as the Lord works in us
at the speed of life, with its days and months and years.
For you have need of endurance, so that when you have
done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.
And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be
perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
