Being Great in the Eyes of God

Being great in the eyes of men is much

different than being great in the eyes

of God, for the requirement is humility.

He has told you, O Man, what is good;

And what does the Lord require of you

But to do justice, to love kindness,

And to walk humbly with your God.

Micah 6:8

"For My hand made all these things,

Thus, all these things came into being,"

declares, the Lord.

But to this one I will look, to him who

is humble and contrite of spirit,

and who trembles at My word.

Isaiah 66:2

Sitting down, He called the twelve and said to them,

"If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all

and servant of all."

Mark 9:35

But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says,

                                "God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

James 4:6

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand

of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time.
